About Cisco: Cisco considers himself a contemporary artist; his art is a reflection of many conscious and subconscious ideas. His art interest started at the early age of eight years old. He thought that one day he would like to be an architect but as he soon realized that math and sciences were not his forte. He soon had interest in fashion. He took some classes in commercial art as an illustrator hoping to follow in the footsteps of Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Oscar De La Renta.
Cisco soon became interested in art and applied to school at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. While at Mac he entered various classes in the art department. Having some setbacks with considering art his major and not following his classmates directions as bio, psych, econ and poly science majors as surely would get them into the best med and law schools in the country. Cisco made every attempt to forget about art with every intent of becoming a lawyer. But deep down his passion for art was an unsettled love affair. Cisco finds art in everything that he encounters, whether in medical procedures or automotive repair. Cisco believes that everyone is an artist of one sort or another. If you stop and analyze it if it's a trade or a specialized profession we all have to be creative in order to fulfill our goals and not become stagnant. Being innovative and creative is almost a must to improve and to stay on the forefront of our chosen careers.
After school Cisco was lost in which direction to head for. He soon became interested in the fashion industry once again. He found himself interested in the Hair industry. To Cisco it was another form of art. Sculpting, painting and expression! At the tail end of the roller sets and hooded dryers, Cisco enrolled at a local cosmetology school. Keeping up with fashions of the seasons, Cisco consumed every fashion magazine he could muster up. Reading the European magazines and following across the pond he decided to experience what it would be like to see it up close and personal. So he went to London and Paris. As Cisco became acquainted with "The New Approach" of hairdressing using scissors instead of razors and brushes and blow dryers instead of hooded dryers.

Haunted by his longing for the art within, Cisco battled it with attempts to regain his long lost love. In 2002 Cisco started with sketching and drawings which only frustrated him and made him feel he would never get it back. After several attempts to paint and realizing that any pre-schooler could do the same or better Cisco reached down to the inner self of his being and started to paint with his emotions and love of color. Painting with various brushes art or non-art the canvas started to react in various ways that surprised him.
